Stakeholders

Stakeholders and Material Issues

We value all the issues related to the Amazing Microelectronic Corp. that all stakeholders are concerned about. In order to have the information disclosed in the Sustainability Report more in line with stakeholder expectations, we referred to the relevant instructions of the GRI Standards 2021 and communicated with stakeholders. We studied the sustainability issues concerned that internal and external stakeholders were concerned about. Through the process of identification, prioritization, validation, and review, the material topics were then selected by AMAZING, with a materiality matrix to demonstrate clearly the distribution of all issues concerned by stakeholders. It helps AMAZING to effectively control the interrelationship and intensity among material topics to stay up to date with the trends and develop response measures.

    1: Summarizing sustainability issues

The collection of sustainability issues was conducted in accordance with the “Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Preparation and Filling of Sustainability Reports” issued by the TPEx, the GRI Standards, and the UN SDGs. By referring to industry-related specific issues and the communication records with stakeholders, we have summarized 15 sustainability issues, such as corporate governance, business performance, environment, social welfare, and employee welfare, as the topics of material matters.

    2: Investigating sustainability issues

Based on the stakeholder identification results, we collected the opinions of stakeholders through various channels, including communication and interviews, to understand the issues that stakeholders were concered about. Then, we evaluated the impact of each sustainability issue on three different aspects (economy, environment, and people), its importance and effect on corporate operations, and the likelihood of negative impacts.

    3: Prioritizing material topics

According to the GRI Standards, the material topics were determined through a matrix cross-analysis method based on the “degree of impact on the economy, environment, and people” and the “degree of impact on business operations.” Issues with a high degree of both the “impact on the economy, environment, and people” and the “impact on business operations” were identified as a priority for disclosure, and there are eight topics with top priority.

Identification of Stakeholders

“Stakeholders” generally refer to the groups or individuals in an organization that can affect or be affected by the organization’s objectives. In order to have an accurate focus on the report and achieve effective communication, the primary stakeholders must be defined. A list of stakeholders was provided through the information given by each operating unit within the company and the approval by the head of each unit according to the communication records with each stakeholder. After a comprehensive scoring based on the three indicators - communication frequency, participation, and influence, the stakeholders with priority for engagement are identified as investors, customers, suppliers, employees, and government agencies.

A stakeholder section has been set up on our official website for stakeholders to communicate and contact via email. For any questions, suggestions, or grievances regarding our sustainability-related issues, please feel free to communicate and feedback through this email address:
